The debut movie of Harman Baweja has its own list of clear inspirations from the English flicks also based on future travelling plot.

The sequence of Priyanka dying in an accident is highly inspired from “The Time Machine” (2002).  In the English original, the hero goes back in the past to change the happenings and tries to save his girlfriend from dying. But each time he goes back she dies in a different manner. This particular thought is more interesting than going into the future and winning over the girl again as in “Love Story 2050”

Other than this, the relationship angle between the uncle and the kid is very similar to the one in “Back To The Future” series. If you surely want to enjoy the Time Machine rides then you must watch the three movie series of “Back To The Future” & “The Time Machine”

Katha - Bobby Talks Cinema.com

A simple story of two friends with completely opposite characters, told in a light & entertaining style. Whereas one of the friends is a man following truth and sincerity, the other is a conman looking only for money and status in society. The most innovative part of the movie is that these two characters are reversely played by the Farukh Sheikh and Naseeruddin Shah. Farukh more known for his silent roles plays the conman for a change and that is the real beauty of the film.

Naseer plays his role in a calm, soothing and impressive way. Deepti Naval looks ravishing as the girl next door and Naseer’s one sided love for Deepti straight away wins your heart. Another gorgeous face you may recognize in the movie is of Mallika Sarabai (famous Classical Dancer), who plays the role of a seductive wife. Slow & steady wins the race is the moral of this movie, brilliantly directed by Sai Pranjpe. May be not known to the young movie lovers of current times but she is the lady who has given some of the most memorable movies to the Indian film industry. A must watch as one of her best offerings.

A one of its kind movie, tackling the emotional issue of life after retirement from work. It’s tough to answer, how life should be lived after retirement. So here is, Jack Nicholson trying to find his own solutions for the problem. The start of the movie is quite shocking and delicate when Jack’s beloved wife suddenly dies on a fresh, bright morning just after few days of his retirement. Even thinking about such circumstances can make the viewer sad and lonely.

But the movie is not about only sadness and loneliness. On the other hand, it is more about the beauty of being alone and not giving up the spirit of living joyfully. A film which must be seen by all who have either retired or close to retirement. If seen seriously by the youngsters, it can teach them how to be prepared for anything in life. The movie has a hidden power of infusing life-force into you. It can bring back the good old spirit in your dull days leading to more joy & fun. Go for it if you love realistic and inspiring movies.

Golmaal - Bobby Talks Cinema.com

One of the 5 cult comedy movies made by Bollywood. It is unanimously rated as one of the most lovable movies by appreciators of Hindi Cinema all over the globe. In fact, if you ask anyone to name the best comedy movies of hindi cinema, then he is sure going to come up with “Golmaal” in his first three nominations.

Double role has been the favourite subject of Comedy Movies since many years. But here double personality of a character is portrayed in the most amusing and entertaining way which wins hearts in only few minutes into the movie. Amol Palekar and Utpal Dutt are in their full form and their scenes together are too funny to watch. Both the actors can make you laugh only with their expressions and dialogue delivery.

Among the comedies made on double identities, “Golmaal” unarguably takes a prominent position in the Top 5. It is also included as Hrishida’s most famous and successful movies. Amol Palekar too earned a huge star status after its overall success. R. D. Burman also makes his presence felt with few memorable songs like “Aane Wala Pal” and more. In few words, “Golmaal” is an all time favourite, brilliantly directed and intelligently edited masterpiece. Simply put, the movie is one of the key representatives of Indian Comedies for rest of the world.
