And Justice For All (1979) - (Movies To See Before You Die - Court Room Drama)

04 Nov, 2007 | Movies To See Before You Die / Court Room

This is a film about the life of lawyers and how they play with truth as they know the loopholes of the law. Al Pacino gives a power packed performance as the lawyer fighting with his conscience. A must watch movie for those who like court room dramas and law suit movies.

It gives you the inside story of the relationship or nexus between the police, lawyers and the judges who decide about the fate of many lives every day sitting on the power chair. It has an interesting plot in which Al Pacino finds it tough to fight a case for a judge, who he knows has done the crime. The judge pressurizes him to fight his case as he is the best lawyer in the town. But just as he is going to win the proceedings, he takes a U turn and what comes next is a well executed climax of the movie. Undoubtedly one of the most entertaining endings you may have ever seen. Thumbs Up for Al Pacino.

How about the recent The Lincoln Lawyer ? The movie sure scores on the attitude of the lawyer.

I would also like to say that this year\'s much appreciated Sujoy ghosh\'s kahaani has similarity with Andie mcdowell starrer RUBY CAIRO.
in that movie too, andie mcdowell\'s husband goes missing and then she goes to someother city to find him....
please let me know your opinion......

Thanks for the info Raj,
However the summary at RUBY CAIRO Imdb page has only one similarity of finding the missing husband which is not what I can easily take as a source. So would like to see the movie and get back here.

But nice catch and lets see if it really has something in it similar to KAHAANI.

Cheers!
