\"Chidhiya, Jeevan, Kamra Aur Maut\" - (My Poetic Expressions - 5)

25 Jul, 2012 | Articles on Music, Poetry and Life

The lines came out as a natural expression when I had an unexpected guest in my room this morning, chirping and dancing around in all the silent corners. And I just felt this the moment I jumped on to the switch board to set off the dangerously whirling fan simply waiting to be the death messenger for the little one.

Daman

Beautiful is the only word that comes to my mind.
But you may be wrong in saying that her death brought her to your room.
Maybe she came to wish you.

Thanks Daman Ji.....
And as I expressed in the lines, Death may have brought her in........but it actually didnt happent and it all ended on a happy note and she flied out of the room quitely.
May be as you said .......she came there just to wish me......

Cheers!

...and then she sat on one of the (fan)blades, and tweet. She was dancing in joy, completely unaware of \'could have been consequences\'.. A supreme happiness filled my heart as if "I have saved her".. She tweet again and left me.. And I realise how fool I\'ve been. HE made her come to wish me, HE made me welcome her (may be by putting off the fan switch) and HE told me not to worry as HE is there to SAVE us all....

Thanks Avik for such a lovely translation of the poem and particularly I really loved the last phrase which was not there in my expression
(really missed that essential angle reminding us of that Supreme Power).

And no doubt HE is there to save us all.............always right till the last moment.

Thanks once again and Keep Writing in,
Cheers!
