Deewangee (2002) & Primal Fear (1996)

"Primal Fear" featuring Richard Gere is the original source of Ajay Devgan & Akshay Khanna Starrer "Deewangi". The double identity disorder plot and several sequences are exactly on the similar lines as shown in Primal Fear.

Though the Hindi flick is a good adaptation with fine performances and competent direction, but I wish the credit was given to its English Original by the makers. I liked “Primal Fear” more as it had no extra deliberate love angles and songs added to the plot. A must watch for all lovers of thriller genre.
