Dus (2005) & its inspirations

“Dus”, initially was a project of Mukul Anand, which was again revived after almost a decade, taking inspirations from more than one source:

Firstly, it has a format of time span similar to the hit TV Series –“24 Hours” (2001)

Secondly, it has sequence in which a bomb is placed in the stadium, close to that in “The Sum Of All Fears” (2002).

Thirdly, the character of Pankaj Kapoor as the villain is same as of Kevin Spacey in “The Usual Suspects” (1994) and the climax twist is also taken from the same movie.
