Very seldom we witness a movie which not only becomes an instant hit but is also unanimously praised by the masses and the critics both. Munna Bhai MBBS was one of those trend setting movies where its lead character grew bigger than its movie stature and entered into the lives of its viewers and appreciators. Munna Bhai & Circuit (his associate) became a household name after the movie released and are still one of the favourite characters of many mimicry artists.

The film is a unique comedy with an emotional touch, thoroughly enjoyable by all. Sanjay Dutt gives a memorable and effortless performance as Munna Bhai, a gangster trying to be a doctor for his father’s sake. And the other best part is played by the inimitable Arshad Warsi, who won praises for his well enacted role as “Circuit” from all ages. It is one of those rare Indian movie which was appreciated by every section of the society and also well received and remade in the other regional languages in India.
