Two of India’s most famous and respected actors, Dilip Kumar & Amitabh Bachhan, came together in a movie for the first time, which was directed by the person who gave us “Sholay”. A tense, action packed drama cum thriller about the relation between a father, who is a police officer and his son, who chooses the path of crime.

A solid movie with powerful scenes and brilliantly written dialogues. Interestingly everyone is trying to outshine each other with their performances and that makes it a worth watching effort. Though it was not a major hit at the time of its release, but it’s now considered as true example of class cinema with two stalwarts of Hindi Film Industry. The female characters Rakhee and Smita Patil also make their presence felt along with the two giants on the screen. Incidentally Anil Kapoor is also there in few scenes as Amitabh’s son talking to his grandfather Dilip Kumar. Strongly Recommended for intense drama lovers.
