Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge (2010) and License To Wed (2007) |
Agreed, that “Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge” is not a copy or even an inspired version of any other original work. But after studying the exact similarities of its poster with that of “License To Wed”, one is forced to think that this Robin Williams flick may have given a vague idea to the writers of ATKJ.
Interestingly, “License To Wed” also talks about a story where in a ‘soon to be married’ couple decides to live together for a few weeks before their marriage, in the presence of an unpleasant personality living along with them in the same house. Robin Williams is the unwanted guest here, who is interested in giving the couple a preparation course before their actual marriage. Sounds quite similar, but with completely different settings.
