BHAIAJI SUPERHIT - As they knew it cannot be even close to a hit so they decided to call it Superhit in the title itself. (Review By Bobby Sing)

At times projects gets stuck and remain in the making for years for various reasons and that seriously affects the final outcome resulting in losses. In some rarest of rare cases a worth watching gem also gets its deserving due post a prolonged release after years like KHOSLA KA GHOSLA, but most of the times the final product is a shoddily completed torture just as the recently released BHAIAJI SUPERHIT featuring all known names.

Interestingly Sunny Deol just had another of his stuck as well as controversial film released a week back as MOHALLA ASSI which turned out to be a severely edited unimpressive version approved by the director himself. And here we have another from the icon that is simply intolerable conveying nothing mis-directed by Neerraj Pathak.

Having said that, BHAIYAJI SUPERHIT certainly could have been at least an average entertainer presenting a funny DON (Sunny Deol in double role) making a Bollywood film to win back his wife, wherein his gang and crew members happen to be Arshad Warsi, Shreyas Talpade, Pankaj Tripathi, Sanjay Mishra, Jaideep Ahlawat and Brajesh Kala along with Preity Zinta and Ameesha Patel contributing the glamour quotient (as mere mannequins). But sadly a too lame writing and an unbearable execution neither utilizes the plot nor the talented cast ensemble throughout the tiring duration and it all looks like a foolish amateurish attempt that deserved to be remained stuck for the right reasons.

With everything ranging from the sets, costumes, songs to the dialogues and performances appearing to be completely outdated, BHAIAJI SUPERHIT never had a chance at the box office and may be that is the reason the makers decided to call it SUPERHIT in the title itself, to at least enjoy the mention in the media post its much awaited release.

In short, with only Shreyas Talpade and Arshad Warsi coming up with just a few, rare enjoyable moments in this strictly avoidable attempt, BHAIYAJI SUPERHIT is one of those unfortunate films, which even the actors would like to somehow erase from their filmography. So it doesn’t really have any chance to work in the online portals too as a comedy film.

Rating : 1 / 5 (including an additional 0.5 for only Shreyas Talpade and Arshad Warsi)
