Deewane Hue Pagal (2005) & There's Something About Mary (1998)

After “Aawara Paagal Deewane” which followed “The Whole Nine Yards”, the same team returned with “Deewane Hue Paagal” featuring Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal & Suniel Shetty. And this time they got all their inspiration from "There's something About Mary". In few words, it’s like seeing the English Comedy in Hindi with different characters and some Hindi Songs. Even the handicapped mannerisms of Suniel Shetty, the long mike used by Akshay, his disguise of an Architect, the little dog catching fire and many more sequences are quite similar to “There’s Something About Marry”.

But still the Indian version was hilarious enough with the funny Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal at their best. Their perfect comic timing was simply superb and worth watching.

It's one of the few copy movies which is a good watch in its own regard. Hilarious film.
