A true representative of the Golden Years of Hindi Film Industry with all the ingredients of a perfect Bollywood style movie. One of the most entertaining act by Dilip Kumar as a young outspoken person living in a village. He’s famous in the village for his bold and fearless nature. You can feel spark in the spirited performance by DilipKumar, where he teases the village girls, fights for his right and is in constant conflict with Pran, the moneylender of the village.

Equally enjoyable are the scenes when Saira Banu comes to the village with her aunt and they both are mocked at by Gopi in the most hilarious ways.
 
Whereas the first half is fun all the way, the second part in the other end is about the transformation of Gopi into a revolutionary extremist. Dilip Kumar is impressive again in his transformation of the character performs it with a great conviction. The movie also proves the fact that why he has been the inspiration of many successful stars in the past and literally worshipped even today as the pioneer in the field of acting. One of the best Dilip Kumar movies, simply not to be missed. A pure Indian Classic with memorable songs.
