One of the few intense and entertaining movies which stay in your mind for a long time after your first view. No was expecting something great when it was released initially, but then it went on to win hearts all over the country with its impressive content.

A Irfan Khan movie all the way and he compels you to see it again only for him, his mannerisms and his acting skills. Irfan does the toughest scenes with such an ease that you feel like giving him a standing ovation for his act. In fact it was this movie which made bollywood take notice of a simple man with average looks but with talent in abundance.
 
The movie is based on College Politics and Campus Elections are shown in a very realistic way. Some sequences of the movie are simply remarkable. For instance the scene when an election contestant tries to convince a girl to vote for him in his broken english. Jimmy Shergill also impresses along with sensuous Hrishita Bhatt. Well directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia who has also directed some entertaining TV serials in the past. Highly recommended for young students, actors and film-makers.
