This is an enlightening poem which I got in one of those forwarded mails you usually get in your mail boxes. The poem was reportedly written by an unknown dying girl in a hospital, who only had got few more days left in her life. As a loving soul, she just wanted to make people realize how important their life is, which should be lived each moment with utmost care and love for each other.

I just tried to put more love, expressions and rhythm to her words with my few changes at certain places……….

And I really wish she could have read this.

May her soul rest in peace!

Have you ever watched kids…….on a merry--go--round?

Or listened to the rain…….slapping on the ground?

Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight?

Or gazed at the sun into the fading night?

You better slow down………..Don't dance too fast.

As the Time is so short………..And the Music won't last.

Do you run through your day. . . just on the fly?

When you ask . . .  How are you? ………..Do you hear anyone’s reply?

When the day is all done………..Do you lie in your bed,

With the next hundred chores………..Running right through your head?

Friend, better slow down………..Don't dance too fast.

As the Time is so short………..And the Music won't last.

Have you ever told your child, ………..Kid!..I Promise….We'll do it. . . tomorrow?

And in your ignoring haste………..Didn’t see his face with sorrow?

Have you ever lost the touch………..Let a good friendship die!

Cause you never had the time to call your friend and say 'Hi'

You really need to slow down………..Don't dance too fast.

As the Time is so short………..And the music won't last..

When you run so fast for a goal………..And just want to get somewhere!

You actually miss the path………..and all the fun of getting there.

When you worry and hurry through your day………..Doing all the things as they say,

You are wasting the Gift of your life………..Like an unopened packet....thrown away.

Since our Life is not a race………..So you ought to take it slower,

Simply try to Hear The Music,
