Both were considered as the strongest pillars of alternative cinema at that time, but sadly Smita Patil passed away early in her life which was a huge loss for the Indian Film Industry.

I would love to read more in detail about this film..Very impactful one..this film is! Like light rays reflecting the various cut of the jem ..each frame and characters say something profound..Amazingly influencial..In Tamil Literature..we call this film in Marutham Thinai..the civilized background in which man no longer goes out of the house for survival only but also for power fame prestige and hypocrisy ruling everything..Its a very deep subject and i am looking forward to know more about this film through your views too,,Thank you very much for the recommendation.
