One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest (1975) (Movies To See Before You Die - Drama/Comedy)

15 Jun, 2008 | Movies To See Before You Die / Drama

An OSCAR winner movie with an unusual story of a fun loving person who cares to makes others happy. Jack Nicholson, who is a criminal, is shifted to a mental institution due to his abnormal behavior. The film is all about the chaos and mischief he does in the institution. With his own charm and witty humor, he gradually forms new emotional relationships with the other patients in the ward and also teases the nurses who appear to be strict with the rules and regulations of the institution.

Some sequences are really touchy and remarkable, like the problems of the Chief, and Jack bringing girls at night into the ward secretly. The film was also one of the inspirational sources for the highly successful “Munna Bhai MBBS” made in Bollywoood. In few words, the movie has a lot of fun elements in it along with a message to take life more lightly. A highly entertaining and strongly recommended movie capable of making your evening.

Hi Shubham,
Yes it partially is and so is one of the sequence of Munna Bhai MBBS taken from the same film.
But if you are really interested in the 'Inspired Movies' subject then do visit the specific section in the site with alphabetical listings having names of hundreds of films inspired from various sources.

Cheers!
