This is a fine example of class cinema and perfect acting. One of the finest actors in the world, Tom Hanks rightly deserved the OSCAR he got for his brilliant act in this movie. Philadelphia was one of the first movies to be made on the humiliation faced by the AIDS victims all over the world. Danzel Washington also excels in the role of lawyer who is helping Tom in his law suit and you will fall in love with him while watching the movie.

As the film progresses you can feel the pain & tough times faced by Tom Hanks as an AIDS victim and In my opinion, after seeing this movie, all your views about Aids and its victims, are going to change completely. The director deserves congratulations for directing a movie which is and will be remembered always for its important theme.
 
Bollywood also tried to copy this movie with Shilpa Shetty as an Aids Victim in “Phir Milenge” co-starring Abhishek & Salman but couldn’t reach even closer to “Philadelphia”- A Cinematic Excellence. A smash hit five star rating and strongly recommended movie.
