Pyar Ishq Aur Mohabbat (2001) & There's Something About Marry (1998)

For a change, this time a comedy movie is adapted and converted into a serious cum thriller movie based on love and jealousy. The basic idea of more than two people falling in love with the same girl was taken from “There’s Something About Mary” and used in a serious way unlike the original in “Pyar Ishq Aur Mohabbat” (2001) by the director Rajiv Rai.

The same English flick was again followed by the makers of “Deewane Hue Pagal” released in 2005, but this time it was back to a comedy, on the similar lines of its inspirational source.

Pyaare Mohan was totally different, the copy of see no evil and hear no evil was Anupam Kher and kadar khan film (the film\'s name I do not remember accurately but I think it was Hum Sab Kamal Ke), having sheeba as heroine and sujoy mukherjee (jou mukherjee son) and it was also made in marathi by sachin EKA PEKSHA EK where sachin played a bilnd man and Laxmikant bherde as deaf man,the said film was directed by sachin himself. and both the remake films were hit at the box office. The similarity between pyaare mohan to the said movie is only that two lead actors one is blind and the other is deaf.

Hi,
The movie you are referring to is "Hum Hain Kamaal Ke" which is already listed in the "H" category of the site.
And you are somehow right about "Pyare Mohan" not being an exact copy, but it was no doubt highly inspired from the Original English flick.
