Schindler's List (1993) - (Movies To See Before You Die - Historical)

28 Sep, 2008 | Movies To See Before You Die / Historical

Schindler's List is Steven Spielberg's one of the greatest all time movies with which he made a major contribution in the world of cinema all over. Very few films have the power to transform you into the past where you can feel the pain and sufferings of the people who were actually there at that time of the event. “Schindler’s List” is one of those realistic films which transport you into that era and takes the curtains off from one of the most bitter truths of the history, making you witness the horrors of the biggest Holocaust in the World's history.

Its undoubtedly, one of the best war films ever made and a must watch for quality cinema lovers as a mandatory clause. After you have seen the 3 hours and 17 minutes of Spielberg’s work, it will be something you will find hard to forget for days. Spielberg makes you feel proud of every single person who tried to help others survive that dreadful massacre. He deliberately made this movie in black & white to have a more authentic feel for the viewers.

The tagline of the movie says "Whoever saves one life, saves the world entire" and you can feel the depth of the words after seeing it. Superbly directed by Steven Spielberg, amazingly photographed in black-and-white, perfectly performed by the entire star-cast and immensely effective with the brilliant background score. In simple words, It would be a crime to miss this Academy Award Winner triumph of cinema.

Yes bobby sir this very impactful film and its story is so great that it defines the reason why motion pictures are also called Movie because they just move you sometimes can even shake your soul and this was that time, this is that movie that moved me . Its has such an impact on my mind that now I feel that helping the humanity is only reason for which we are born. Any one who is helping even a single human being through his work through his deed is doing commendable and correct job. Its story which is I think is based on true happening of second world war shows us that humanity will never die .

I was terrified while watching this film i was filled with fear, i was feeling the same amount of fear which was visible only each and every jew character of the film i watched this film with full attention, i was feeling like when a jew will get killed for no valid reason only God knows.

I literally cried at the climax when Oskar Schindler was crying I was feeling his pain that he could have saved more lives if he had earned more .
Most amazing thing was that I got so much involved with the film and was totally taken away by the emotional scene of Oskar Schindler that I was not able to feel that film suddenly turned colourful in the stone keeping scene when Schindler jews were keeping stones on his grave yard , I felt that the screen was colourful only when the screen again turned black and white to roll the end credits .

So all I want to say is that this was the one of most amazing film that i have ever seen.

Few days after watching Schindler\'s List I happened to watch one more Amazing movie made on similar subject but this movie is very different this movie is Life Is beautiful (1997) it was a surprise package for me because before watching this film I had not read any thing about it so i had not expectations from it but it turned out to be very entertaining and amazing movie after watching these two films I want to say that this is why I love cinema so much because it give me so much variety so much different view point and positive way to see a subject . It makes me feel so close to the people I have never met and will never meet and sometimes it makes me love people who never existed in this world it takes me to the palaces i will never reach and it takes me there at the cheapest rate , it teaches me some of the best lessons of my life . So I love living with the movies and also growing with them .

Bobby sir very very thank you for listening me every few people listen me , so thank you and keep doing you amazing work with cinema I am always with you .
