Shiva - Bobby Talks Cinema

This is one of the first path breaking movies made by Ram Gopal Verma with first of its kind shot takings, camera angles and new techniques. A racy, tight screenplay with punchy dialogues and fine acting by the entire star-cast. The story reveals the truth behind the nexus between college politics, underworld and active national politicians. Campus movements and College Elections are shown in a true form here.

Ram Gopal Verma makes his actors speak more with their eyes than with their vocal chords. He brilliantly creates an atmosphere of tension on the screen which was really a novel experience for the audiences at the time of its release. Worth mentioning are the chase sequences, innovatively shot and executed. Some of the songs by the maestro Illayaraja are also catchy and pleasing to ears. Undoubtedly, one of the best movies on Youth and Campus Politics.
