Khushboo (2008) & Fools Rush In (1997)

“Khushboo” is a mature love story completely based on “Fools Rush In” (1997) featuring Salma Hayek. It honestly follows the English original along with some additional north Indian elements added to the narration in order to give it an Indian feel.

Other than its English influence, you can also feel the hangover of “Jab We Met” (2007) in it, as you watch the story moving into a Punjabi village with a similar background.
