29. Strangers (2007) – Inspired from Alfred Hitchcock's Classic "Strangers On A Train" (1951)
30. Shakalaka Boom Boom (2007) - Follows the main plot of “Amadeus” (1984)
31. Straight (2009) – Main plot close to “40 Year Old Virgin” (2005)
32. Shaapit (2010) – Based on a story quite identical with “Purana Mandir” (1984).
33. Shor In The City (2011) – Has a sequence inspired from2010 British black comedy called “Four Lions”.
34. Singham (2011) – Official remake of Tamil Hit “Singam” (2010)
35. Special 26 (2013) – Based on the true story of fake raids reported in the country in the mid 80s.
36. Shootout at Wadala (2013) – Reportedly inspired from real life happenings in Mumbai, it is also largely based on Hussain Zaidi’s book "Dongri to Dubai".
