I was waiting for your Rosemary\'s Baby review for so many days......

I agree with you on every point. Its not always about the scary face or gory scenes.
Sometimes its about the environment. And this movie creates that environment around it which scares the audience.
And the credit goes to the director,screenplay and the story.

This film, all the way belongs to Mia Farrow without any doubt.
Her performance in this movie is one the most brilliant performances ever witnessed in the history of world cinema.
Ruth Gordon was good. But it was Farrow\'s performance which made the movie scary, not Gordon\'s performance.
So it was quite shocking for me when I came to know that Ruth Gordon won the oscar that year whereas the life and soul of this film... Mia Farrow didn\'t even get a nomination.:(

I think men were also good in this film.
Highly recommended movie...not just for every horror movie\'s fan but also for those who wants to watch quality cinema irrespective of their genre.

Sir,I am also waiting for your comment on Monica Belluci\'s movie L\'APPARTEMENTE,which I mentioned in your foreign films section.You told me you will review this movie soon.

I also think that the theme song sung by Mia Farrow herself was extremely haunting and the background score especially in the climax scene,was absolutely brilliant.

Sir I would like to recommend you two spanish horror movies:

1.The Orphanage(2007)
2.Julia\'s Eyes(2010)

The Orphanage is one of the most original horror,haunting and suspenseful movies ever made and one of my all time favourite movie.Beautifully written,good score,beautiful cinematography and extermely well acted especially by its two leads,Belen Rueda and the child actor Roger Princep,who playe herson.And also a very chilling performance Geraldine Chaplin.

The 2nd one, although is not as good as the orphanage,but still its very good in most parts.Some really good and shocking scares.Again a very good performance by its lead heroine and the actor who played her husband.The story is quite engaging.Again the camera work is beautiful.A fultoo time pass movie!
